Introduction to the Bulk Load Template
To use the bulk load template, the following template is available in two formats:
- A Microsoft Excel version, for those who have the Office suite and prefer to work in this format. You can download it from the link below.
The template contains cells with drop-down menus from which you can choose pre-selected answers.

Since these are recurring programs, in practice, it only takes a little time to fill it out the first time. It is conveniently saved and reused quickly and easily in all subsequent load programs with small, simple, specific modifications, such as the PU number, for example.
The template contains three tabs:
1. How To. In this second tab, you will find a summary of how-to rules and identifiers for creation, in case this is the first time you've created loads using this method.
2. Examples. This is the third tab of the document, which displays examples of how to use the template correctly, along with some created loads of various types for your reference.
3. Shipments. This is the first tab of the document, where the program's completion process is done. This is the tab you should work in, and the one you'll use to load data when uploading the document to the system.
General Considerations for Mass Creation of Loads
- The template contains all the fields necessary for creating loads in different columns for you to fill out, and most of them are filled out by selecting an option from a dropdown menu that appears when you select the cell. In other words, there are pre-loaded options in the template that correspond to the options available during the load creation process on the platform.
- If any critical fields are left unfilled in the template, the loads will be created in Quick Shipment format, so the system will prompt you to complete these critical fields in a subsequent step. Conversely, if all fields are filled out correctly, the loads will be published as Complete Loads, ready to be processed in the system.
- Mass load creation is limited to 20 loads per template. This is because, when uploading a template, not only are the loads created, but they are also posted to our marketplace and notifications are sent to all carriers who have enabled notifications for the routes of interest. This involves hundreds of executions in just a few seconds, so uploads are limited to 20 loads per template to avoid overload or errors in the process.
Let's see below the details of some of the columns of the Bulk Upload template:
Border ID
If the shipment we are creating involves crossing the border, we must specify the ID of the border crossing point.
This identifier can be obtained from the How To tab, where we find a list of North American border crossings. We will identify the border of our shipment and its identifier to be used in this column.
For example, if our border crossing is through Lerdo - El Paso, we will select identifier 5.
Origin and Destination Addresses
Address fields must be filled in twice: for the PU/Origin, and for the DO/Destination.
And the system allows us to enter these locations in several ways:
- Facilities. The easiest way is always to spend a few minutes at the beginning of working on the platform filling out our facilities, so that they are easily available with all their pre-filled data when creating shipments. If you already have your facilities registered in the system, simply enter the facility ID and ignore the rest of the fields, as the system will obtain them from the facility registration.
You can review how to create your facilities in this article.
To obtain the ID of your facilities, access the Facilities section of your account, and you can see their ID in the first column of the list:
- Coordinates. You can enter longitude and latitude of the location's coordinates.
- Address. You can enter the location in the traditional way, filling out the address, city, state, zip code, and country fields. This is the most inaccurate and least recommended option. It involves free, manual text that can be prone to human error. The system will attempt to reverse geocode the address provided via Google Maps, but there have been rare instances where Google Maps is unable to locate the address, especially in Mexico.
Dates
Another important point is to enter dates in the correct format.
Spreadsheets identify date format fields by entering the character (´) before the date.
Make sure to enter this symbol before your date, for example:
'2025-12-15 10:00:00
How to load the Bulk Shipments template
To use this shipment creation format, go to Shipments and click on Bulk Shipments.
A window will open, in which we will select the template for our computer and click Save.
The system will load the data and show us a log of the process, notifying us if it finds any errors or inconsistencies in the data entered.
If errors appear in your creation log:
- You can cancel the process, correct the errors, and reload the template.
- Or you can continue with the creation by clicking Run, being aware that the shipments with errors will not be created.
The system will begin creating the shipments, confirming the created shipments with the message "executed." It will also display the ID assigned when creating the shipment in green for proper identification.
If you access the Loads menu, you will now be able to view your created shipments in the list.
