How to Dispatch and Operate Loads in Fr8App
Once the carrier account is assigned to a load, it will immediately appear in the Dispatch tab.
This is where you can view, initiate, and review tracking logs for all of the carrier's loads in progress.
How to start shipping a load
Once the Load Matched status is reached, the carrier profile will have the possibility to start shipping the load. Go to the Dispatch tab > Identify the load you want to start > Start Shipping.
When entering a load for the first time in this tab, you will be asked to download a confirmation sheet in order to proceed. All you need to do is click on Continue.
You will be asked to enter the remaining carrier data: Operator, Tractor and Trailer
Once you have filled out everything necessary, click Save.
Once the data has been saved and nothing is missing (Trailer and Tractor), we will click Proceed to Dispatched.
Confirm by clicking Ok.
How to change the status of a load
Once in the Dispatched status, the Carrier profile has the option to change the status of the load. From Pickup to Unloaded.
Click on the Change Status button and confirm Ok.
How to complete a load
Once we have gone through all the statuses of a load, we will reach the Unloaded without POD status.
This indicates that to complete the load it is necessary to upload the POD (Proof of Delivery) type document - See how to upload documents for a load (below).
Once the POD document is attached to the load documents, a Fr8App Collaborator will be able to mark the load as completed from their BackOffice profile.
Archive Tab
The Archive tab acts as a record of all the loads already completed by the carrier. All loads that have been Completed or Cancelled are displayed here.
Important: A load can never be completed if the POD document type has not been uploaded. Loads with the status Unloaded without POD are found in the Dispatch tab.
